Other Ways to Give
Product Donations
If you have something specific you would like to donate to the ministry, please let us know. Many gifts have been given over the years. You can give practically anything. For example, food items, tools, vehicles, furniture, home furnishings, sports equipment, and art supplies. Other items that have been a blessing to the students are movie tickets, an outing on the lake, a pizza party, and other activities for the students. We would greatly appreciate your gift of any items or activities for the girls. Please note that all activities must be scheduled in advance.
Drives
Coming together with a group for a concerted effort in raising funds or collecting items of need is a great way to get your church or other group involved. Some ideas for items to collect in a drive include food items, paper goods, cleaning supplies, snack items, art supplies, and games. You may also wish to review our Needs List for other ideas.
Private Fundraisers
Perhaps you would like to host a fund-raising event for the ministry. We certainly welcome your ideas and efforts in partnering with us in this way. Fundraisers help to generate funds and awareness of our ministry. We have even had teens organize and host their own fundraising events. Some ideas for events include: banquets, concerts, dessert theatres, yard sales, silent auctions, and the list goes on. Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. will be glad to assist you with any information you may need to help bring awareness to Freedom Ministries and the work that we do here.
In Memory of…
Giving in memory of a family member who has passed away is a very personal way of remembering and celebrating the life of a loved one. This is a wonderful way to remember the impact they had on your life and to continue their legacy by helping others in their name. Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. will send a letter to a relative of the loved one who has passed away to let them know of the gift given in their loved one’s name. We will also send you a thank you letter.
In Honor Of…
Has someone impacted your life in a special way and you would like to show them how valuable they are to you? Perhaps it’s a mother, father, friend, or mentor. Giving a gift to Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. in their honor is a unique way to show them how important they are to you. Your gift will help to change lives in honor of your friend or family member. If someone has done something to impact your life, consider giving a gift to honor them today.
Planned Giving
Planned giving would be gifts that are given from wills, estates, trusts, insurance products, or retirement accounts. You may need to speak to your attorney for legal advice on donating through planned giving.
Employer Matching Gifts
Companies across the country will partner with their employees in giving to non-profit organizations. Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Some employers even have matching gift programs. To find out more, contact your employer’s Human Resource Department and ask them for the forms that Harvest Time Ministries, Inc would need to fill out, and mail them to us at the address below. We will complete the forms and return them to your employer.

United Way Designated Funding
If your employer offers participation in the United Way campaign, you can designate your gift for Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. On your campaign form, look for a “donor option” line and write in “Harvest Time Ministries, Inc.” You may need to include our address: 4 Charles West Blvd., Clayton, AL 36016. Many United Way programs give donors the option to specify a charity other than one from their list of participants. We will then receive a donation on your behalf through your local United Way chapter.
