Rev Shawn Collier
Founder and President
Rev Shawn is the Founder and President of Harvest Time Ministries, Inc. She is the Executive Director of Freedom Ministries & Senior Pastor of Harvest Time Church. Her array of responsibilities also include Fund-Raising Coordinator, Special Projects Coordinator, Ministry Team & Missions Team Coordinator, and discipling the leadership. She does all this and more while ministering home and abroad. Rev Shawn knows firsthand many of the struggles and hurts Harvest Time residents bring with them. Her love for God and her compassionate heart are key factors in reaching the ladies that God sends to the ministry.
Paul Collier is married to Rev Shawn. He is the vice-president of Harvest Time. He is also the Building Projects Coordinator and a board member. He is a Vietnam-era veteran and a retired police officer. He worked as a peace officer for seven years and a criminal/fraud investigator for fourteen years. Paul's extensive knowledge makes him a great asset to the ministry. He loves the Lord and Rev Shawn with all his heart.
Rev Ronnie Benefield
Rev Ronnie Benefield has been the pastor of Friendly Assembly of God in Texasville, Alabama, for more than 25 years. Rev Benefield was instrumental in the beginning of Harvest Time Ministries by giving Rev Shawn Collier the very first piece of property that was the first ministry home. Since then, he has continued to play a vital role in HTM.
Rev Ken Jackson
Rev Ken Jackson is the founding pastor of Christian Life Church in Eufaula, Alabama. He and his wife pioneered the church in 1985 with twenty-one charter members. It has grown to a church of over two hundred members. He has a Master's Degree in Theology. Rev Jackson has recently celebrated over 25 years in full time ministry.
Rev Travis Bittle
Rev Travis Bittle is the Pastor of Tallassee First Assembly of God Church in Tallassee, Alabama. He has years of experience working with organizations that help troubled teens, such as Teen Challenge Ministries.
Mr. Jimmy Partin has served in the education field since 1972. He has worked in the capacity of coach, teacher, school administrator, and also headmaster. He has served at Briarwood in Birmingham, Alabama; Parkview Christian School in Eufaula, Alabama; Dixie Academy in Louisville, Alabama; and Ashford Academy in Ashford Alabama. We are grateful to have someone with his experience on our board.
Emily, 32, came to Harvest Time as a student more than eleven years ago. After she graduated the ministry in 2008, she interned for one year, and then came on as full-time staff. She is the Executive Administrator, Director of the School for Women, Accountant, Secretary Treasurer of our Board of Trustees, a case manager, and a Children's/ Nursery Minister. She brings valuable insight from her own experience as a student regarding the hurt and struggles many women experience. Her organizational skills have been a great asset through the years.
