Internship Program
There are two types of intern opportunities
that we offer. One is for post-graduates of our ministry program. The other is for young women that have recently
graduated a school other than Harvest Time Ministries, and feel the call of God into the work of the ministry. Our internship
program is a great opportunity for real hands-on training in ministry. By working
as an intern, students have the opportunity to further their character development, gain valuable job skills, and
experience first-hand what ministry is all about. Interns often help with various duties uncluding: tutoring in
school, helping to oversee students during various weekly activities, assisting Case Managers with secretarial duties, assisting
in the kitchen administration, setting up for holiday events, and a host of other activities. Interns may
have the opportunity travel with Rev Shawn whenever she ministers, and can become active members in the Harvest Time Ministry
Team. Through the Ministry
Team, interns are able to minister through drama and testimony. The Ministry Team gives plenty of opportunities to
share with others what God has done in their lives. Not only do interns minister in churches, but also
in schools, nursing homes, public gatherings, prisons, door to door ministry, and even on the mission field. The program requires a year long
commitment from the student. For our post graduates, it provides a time for the student to learn how to manage
life after Harvest Time. Interns have more freedoms and privileges than students in the ministry program, as well
as more responsibilities. Whether the student is returning home, moving off to college, going to Bible School,
or beginning a career, internship is a great way for post-graduates to transition into the next phase of life.
