Dear Mrs. Shawn,
You are appreciated because you are a faithful woman of God - a reflection of His grace and beauty, an extension of His caring
ways, and an expression of His heart to others. I'm sending you this as a symbol of my personal gratitude for ministry

The following poem was written by a student at HTM. I know a special someone, whose heart is like pure gold, Whose words are full of compassion, but bold when it's time to be
bold. She's an all- time fun person with
morals and values to share; And in our deepest
time of need, she's always there with love and care. She
gave her life with a sacrifice so great that she's much more than nice. She's full of faith, she works with grace and an abundance of glory shines bright on her face. She's on fire for God and encourages us to be full of joy and proud
with victory. She does all she can do to better
my life, even when the devil comes through and tries to start strife. She's a beautiful person, both inside and out, with her pesence in a room, it's impossible to pout! Who is this woman for which my words flow so free? None other than Rev Shawn, who gives her life for me!

You are appreciated beyond
words! You live and work in a position where "thank you" doesn't come often enough, and it would be very easy for you
to get discouraged. Yet, your steadfastness, kindness, and leadership has kept on going- even when it has been very
difficult. You are a shining example to us all of what a servant is, and what we should strive to be. I hope
that this month you can truly know that there are many, many lives that have been touched, and even changed by your life.
